In a Nepali home, the bardali is the veranda: the open, sunlit edge of the house where family sits together, guests are welcomed with tea, and the big occasions spill out for everyone to see. Bardali Function Centre in Merrylands was built on that idea, as a place where Sydney’s Nepali community and its friends can gather.
A hall for the whole family, and then some
Bardali has been hosting weddings, pasni, bratabandha, birthdays and community programs in Merrylands for years, with room for up to 200 guests and a kitchen that cooks the Nepali food families grow up with.
In 2025 the venue was renovated and refreshed. The hall, stage and dining spaces were updated, while keeping what guests love: a big dance floor, a fully stocked bar, and a team that makes sure every elder has a seat and every child has a plate.
The restaurant is open to everyone, every day, so you can come for momo on a Tuesday and book your daughter’s pasni on the way out.
